As Royal Wedding fever hit the country, Busy Bees nurseries across the UK held parties for local communities to celebrate the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton in true British style.

Nurseries organised many fun and exciting activities fit for a royal occasion, including street parties, making fairytale castles, planting flowers in the nursery garden and dressing up as kings and queens. Music was played and nurseries were decorated with bunting, balloons, and children’s paintings, all of which added to the lively and excited atmosphere.

Families received goodies to really get them into the celebratory spirit, with royal wedding crowns, as well as royal Union Jack flags to wave. Tasty afternoon tea was also provided, with freshly made scones, strawberries, and cucumber sandwiches!
