April has been an excellent month at Leicester Meridian Leisure Park - all of our children have had so much fun and fantastic opportunities while coming to nursery.

So what have we been up to? We had an egg-tastic Easter, where the staff planned Easter related activities every day for all children coming in.

The children enjoyed taking part in Easter egg hunts, bringing in and showing off their creative Easter bonnets for the parades which we held on a red catwalk!

Cooking with me - the children were able to make homemade Easter bunny biscuits, chocolate nest cakes (I must add not many made it home, as they were eaten before they got to the cars....)

Golden Mile - is our charity for 2012. The children are helping to walk as many miles as they can to raise money for the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust, so far we have walked 230 miles and raised just over £110.00, our aim is £500.00.

National Day Nursery Association - NDNA - we finally had our assessor Hillary come into nursery and spend the whole day with the staff team, children and parents, she was with us from 8.00am - 5.000pm.

Hillary came to link all our portfolio work with our daily practice, nursery environment and meeting with staff. We really enjoyed the experience and had fantastic feedback at the end of the day, we hope to receive our grading and report by the Summer. Once the outcome is known we will share this on our website - keep your fingers crossed!

So that is another month gone by as we enter May, we have many more exciting things to share with you, so why don't you call in and come and see?
