Apple Pie Bake Off Day!

To celebrate National Apple Day we held an Apple Pie Bake Off-a competition to bake the best Apple Pie! Each room baked and the pies were judged at 4pm.

Congratulations to Sunshines room who baked the best pie based on presentation and, of course, taste! But it was a very close run thing and all rooms baked beautiful pies. We sold them off at the end of the day and rasied £8.50 towards our chosen charity The Forces Children's Trust. But it is great news for Sunshines who win £50 to spend on children's equipment and resources! WELL DONE SUNSHINES!

There was another prize up for grabs and that was for the "Best Team Effort". Again, every room did very well, planning such activities as apple printing, apple seed planting, collage, apple tasting and telling apple related stories such as "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". The "Best Room Effort" was eventually won by Rainbows so well done to them too-each member of staff won chocolates and wine and flowers! WELL DONE RAINBOWS!!
