Babies Get Messy!!!!
The children are developing independance painting their own bodies to make marks on paper. Some children may choose to not participate which is their choice and this is respected. All children are offered the oppurtunity to take part.
This activity has helped children develop creatively and has also helped them communicate their preferences. Children communicate in a number of different ways and the baby two children communicated by doing actions and saying some words like 'mine' for when they wanted to do it by themselves and saying'more' whilst pointing the paintbrush to the paintpot for when they wanted more paint.
Children painted each others feet, this develops their personal, social and emotional skills by playing together :)
