We had a visit from Ben Potter with his birds of prey (Bramley the Barn Owl, Jack the Gyr Falcon, Myrtle the Turkey Vulture, Jenny the Harris Hawk, Kevin the Carra Carra).

Ben came to visit nursery on 28th January as part of our RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch event.

We also held a competition in nursery for the Toddler and Pre-School children to complete a tally of birds seen on 30th and 31st Jan, Lucas Wrigley was the winner, spotting 65 birds in total and he received a set of binoculars and a wildlife book.

All of the children seemed to really enjoy the visits and we'd like to thank Ben for showing us his amazing Birds of Prey.
