Burns Night Supper
On Tuesday 25th January the children celebrated Burns Night by having a traditional Scottish supper which included cock-a-leekie soup, mince forbye, champit tatties and bashed neeps followed by a non-tipsy laird.
The Highland Deer also made an appearance and the children had a fantastic time meeting them!
The children made Scottish hats and wore these throughout the afternoon whilst the staff all wore kilts and Scottish tartan sashes to create a very merry Scottish atmosphere! The children also had the opportunity to listen to poems written by Rabbie Burns himself and dance to Scottish music. A fantastic afternoon was enjoyed by all!
