Busy Bees Childcare Partner up with Change4Life
Busy Bees are proud partners of Change4Life, a national campaign run by the Department of Health, to support and encourage our families in their mission to lead a healthy, active lifestyle.
Change4Life encourages families to think about the food they are eating and the lifestyle they are leading, as 'modern life' can mean that we're a lot less active and don’t have the time to prepare healthy meals at home. With so many opportunities to watch TV or play computer games, we don't move about as much, and for children, this means that they could grow up with dangerous amounts of fat in their bodies - so it’s really important that we do something about it!
Last year, Busy Bees Nurseries across the country held a ‘Change4Life Activity Fortnight’, which included lots of lively activities for the children that were not only fun, but active and healthy too! Busy Bees attempted to break a world record during the fortnight, and now holds the Guinness World Record for the highest gathering of people dressed as bees, which currently stands at 1, 901.
This summer, Busy Bees will once again be encouraging families to take on the Change4Life challenge, by holding exciting activities based around ‘Cook4Life’, ‘Dance4Life’, ‘Play4Life’, ‘Breakfast4Life’ and ‘Walk4Life.’ Busy Bees have also exclusively joined up with Peppa Pig and Tommy’s to bring Busy Bees children a fun and unique fundraising experience!
Every child attending Busy Bees will receive an exclusive Change4Life pack, which will include lots of goodies, including activity sheets, money off vouchers, free samples and useful information on how to start leading your healthy lifestyle.
