Busy Bees Make the Front Page

Busy Bees in Longbridge have made the front page of the Bromsgrove Standard today following their recent refurbishment and official re-opening by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham.

Nursery buzzing after a revamp

The new look Busy Bees Nursery in Longbridge was officially reopened by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Birmingham last Friday (26th February).

Guests were treated to a Champagne reception with light refreshments, while the children enjoyed fun activities such as face painting, a bouncy castle, arts and crafts and party games.

Longbridge's Busy Bees was acquired from Mini Rovers which was for the children of MG Rover employees and since then has grown from strength to strength.

The revamp has seen the purpose-built single storey nursery decorate throughout, including having new flooring, curtains and signs.

Nursery Manager Julie Eccleston said the first refurbishment in five years looked fantastic. 'The new layout of the nursery has been enhanced to accommodate the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), so we can continue to ensure children's needs and happiness are central to everything we do.'
