This September Busy Bees Nurseries will be introducing ABC Music and Me, an exclusive music programme run by Kindermusik, as part of their extra curricular activities.

Kindermusik uses research-proven methods to help children develop their singing, reading, listening and early learning skills. Each week, a trained expert in music and child development visits the nursery to provide an interactive learning experience, carrying out fun activities such as picnics, taking a listening walk and creating a pretend house in the classroom.

Every month parents will receive an ABC Music and Me home kit which includes a CD, a Family Activity Guide and a new instrument. This way, learning can continue out of the nursery, into the home. Each month the programme will cover a different theme.

ABC Music and Me incorporates the Government’s EYFS learning framework by teaching the children in a comfortable environment, adopting a ‘whole-child’ approach to learning and practicing proactive learning through play. The programme aims to be fun as well as educational, holding the children’s attention and capturing their imagination.

Busy Bees and Leapfrog nurseries are the first childcare provider to offer this experience to children and parents in the UK.
