Busy Bees Raise over £18,000 for Tommy's Charity
Busy Bees have raised over £18,000 for baby charity, Tommy’s, as we teamed up with Peppa Pig to bring the Peppa Pig Bing Bong Dance to children at Busy Bees nurseries across the UK.
Children at Busy Bees nurseries held a show for their friends and families, as they took part in a sponsored dance to the Peppa Pig Bing Bong song and made actions like strumming their guitar, stamping their feet, and rolling their hands.
Tommy’s, who fund research into pregnancy problems and provides support and advice to parents, rewarded the nurseries who raised the most amount of money with special Peppa Pig goodies for the children to enjoy, including a play tent, trike, and scooter, as well as resources such as books, games and puzzles!
The three winning nurseries were Weston Super Mare, Hoover and Warwick Hospital, who raised nearly £2000 between them!
There were other great fundraising amounts, so a special mention goes to the following nurseries;
Busy Bees in Clifton - £625
Busy Bees in Chelmsford- £490
Busy Bees in Leicester Meridian – 479
Busy Bees in Salisbury - £438
Busy Bees in Oldbrook - £435
Busy Bees in Southport - £424
Busy Bees in Rotherham - £392
A special thank you goes to all Busy Bees parents who helped us reach this fantastic amount.
