Busy Bees Sweeten up Flower Show
This July, Busy Bees and Leapfrog Nurseries in the North of England will be working together to design and create a spectacular garden, based on the much loved children’s stories, 'The Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle and 'Planting a Rainbow' by Louis Ehlert.
The Busy Bees garden will be opened by Manchester's Lord Mayor, Councillor Mark Hackett, at the RHS Show at Tatton Park on the 20th July, and will be seen by over 90,000 visitor from 21st – 25th July.
Children and staff from the nurseries have been getting creative in the garden in preparation of the event, planting, watering and sowing seeds, as well as making fantastic models to enhance the garden’s colourful themes. Thanks to the hard work of the nursery teams and kind donations from sponsors, the garden is set to look fantastic, with flowers all the colours of the rainbow, giant fruit for the 'Hungry Caterpillar', and beautiful butterfly ornaments, all enclosed within a white picket fence.
At the show there will be a hive of activity around the Busy Bees garden, as visitors and their children will have the opportunity to enter into a special colouring competition each day, to win a host of exciting giveaways, including a garden pack and Bob the Builder prizes! Spectators will also be given exclusive Busy Bee Flower Show Shopper Bags containing lots of exciting goodies.
Busy Bees parents will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the flower show at a discounted rate. Look out for more details closer to the event.
