Busy Bees sweeten up flower show
The spectacular garden was based on the much loved children’s stories, ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle and ‘Planting a Rainbow’ by Louis Ehlert.
The garden was entered into the RHS Show at Tatton Park from 21st – 25th July, with over 90,000 people passing through the gates. The garden was officially opened by Councillor Mark Hackett, the Lord Mayor of Manchester, at a champagne and strawberry reception.
Children and staff from the nurseries have been getting creative in their gardens in preparation of the event, planting, watering and sowing seeds, as well as making models to enhance the garden’s colourful themes.
