Busy Bees Centres of Excellence in Catering

Busy Bees are committed to offering fresh, nutritious meals and snacks to children attending our nurseries, and employing dedicated, passionate Catering teams within our settings that strive to inspire a love of good quality, healthy food in children. In continuing the passion, enthusiasm and drive our Catering teams display, five Busy Bees nurseries across the UK have been elected to become the Busy Bees Centres of Excellence in Catering.

Busy Bees Nursery in Hatfield Road have been chosen as one of the five Centres of Excellence in Catering due to their outstanding commitment to providing the best possible meals and snacks to children in their care, in a safe and hygienic environment.

Nursery Chef, Carolyn, holds a Level 4 in Managing Food Safety in Catering and is completely committed to provide healthy nutritious food to all the children in the nursery.

The nursery has received high outcomes in recent Catering Audits and from the local Environmental Health inspections. The kitchen team are all regularly updated on action plans, and work together to provided children with fun and exciting cooking activities.

The team is also dedicated to training, and Carolyn works towards her own personal development, attending regular training courses.

Our Centres of Excellence in Catering are located in Oldbrook, Farringtons, Brough, Hatfield Road and Solihull.

The Centres of Excellence are part of a larger project being developed by Busy Bees throughout 2011. Our ‘See the Difference’ campaign ensure that each of our nurseries maintain a high level of care and service by answering to a strict and thorough criteria.
