CHANGE4LIFE ACTIVITY

Monday 19th July 2010 – Cook4Life - Our nursery chef, Gail, helped the children to cook a number of tasty treats such as ‘Monster Faces’ (pita or pizza bases, the children decorated them using vegetables and fruit to make the scariest face possible), ‘Apple and Sultana Muffins’, ‘Hot Ham and Tomato Crumpets’ and ‘Four Seasons Pizza’.

Tuesday 20th July 2010 – Play4Life - The children took part in a ‘Tommy’s Sponsored Peppa Pig Triathlon’ in which the children splashed in ‘muddy puddles’ (pretend puddles), ‘rode on a trike’, and ‘ran’. Every child who raised sponsorship money will receive a personalised thank you letter and a Peppa Pig Magazine, plus on the day each child received a Peppa Pig Sticker and Certificate.

Wednesday 21st July 2010 – Walk4life - The children went for a walk around the garden area, playing games such as ‘what wildlife can you see?’ and ‘I-Spy’, plus ‘A Scavenger Hunt’. Also the older ones went for a walk over to the allotments and looked at all the wildlife and the fruit ‘n’ veg that is grown over there.

Thursday 22nd July 2010 – Dance with Change4Life - We had a party day in which the children came in dressed in their party clothes and were served party food, plus throughout the day there was a number of party games such as ‘pass the parcel’ and ‘musical statues’ etc…

Friday 23rd July 2010 – Breakfast4Life - We had an early morning buffet to help encourage parents and children to enjoy their breakfast together. The Breakfast buffet included: Toast, Fruit, Cereals, Grilled Bacon, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, and Scrambled Eggs, Yogurt and ‘Strawberry and Banana Smoothie’.
