Charity Open Day Fun
On Saturday 14th of August our nursery held an Open Day to help raise money for the Charity Bliss, who help sick and premature babies.
We held a raffle, sold cakes baked by children, staff and parents and painted the children’s faces. Some of our pre-school children took part in a Ballet Show, and we had a book stall, bouncy castle, photographer and lots of competitions throughout the day.
Buster Bee visited on the day too, he kindly had photographs taken with the children and also unveiled our new garden. Buster even played football with Simon, a coach from Preston North End who trains some of our children at nursery.
We had a lovely day, and would like to say thanks to everyone who helped raise £307.08 for the charity!
