Exclusive LEGO Competition at Busy Bees
Busy Bees Nurseries located in the North West of England are holding an exciting competition in conjunction with LEGOLAND Discover Centre to find the most spectacular and innovative LEGO creation.
Each nursery will hold their own LEGO building competition, and children from four age groups, ranging from 2 – 11 years, will have the chance to enter into two categories. To celebrate UK’s biggest events in 2012, children will have the choice to create a LEGO design based on either the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee or the London 2012 Olympics. The two winning designs from each nursery will be entered into a regional final spanning all of Busy Bees’ 19 North West nurseries, where the impressive designs will be judged by very special guests, LEGO Man and the LEGO Master.
The LEGO Master designs and builds all of the spectacular LEGO models at the LEGO Discovery Centre located at The Trafford Centre in Manchester. The Centre is the only one of its kind in the UK and has over 15 exciting attractions to explore, including the LEGO Factory, the LEGO 4D Cinema and the LEGO Construction Site.
Winners from each age group and category will be chosen, and awarded a family ticket for four to the LEGO Discovery Centre, worth over £60.
It costs just £1 to enter, and all proceeds will go to the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust, a charity which gives disadvantaged young children the chance to realise their dreams through inspirational guidance from Paralympic, World and Commonwealth champions.
The competition will be launch on the 27th & 28th Feb, and the Master Builder and LEGO Man, will be visiting a selection of sites. For more information on where they will be visiting, speak to your local nursery.
