On Saturday 20th August a group of our parents took part in a Basic First Aid training course.  This was held at the nursery and the tuition was provided by Bligthfield.  Whilst the parents were having their training their children were looked after in a creche provided, free of charge, by the nursery.

The nursery funded half of the cost of the course, with parents paying only £16 for this excellent training.  The reason we were happy to help to fund this training is due to the amount of children who die needlessly each year just because their parents didn't have some first aid knowledge, especially of choking.

The parents ALL found the course to be very worthwhile and helpful.  We hope to be able to repeat this training again in the future.
