On Saturday 30th July we held our annual Summer Fun Day here at Thorley Park.  It was a lovely sunny day and lots of families from the nursery attended with their extended family and lots of local people came too.  It was a real community event, also covered by the local press.

All of the proceeds from the day went to our charity of the year Winston's Wish and whilst having lots of fun we also managed to raise £209.  There were lots of different activities including a bouncy castle, face painting, guess the weight of the marrow, guess the name of the teddy and, of course, a raffle.
