We held this Special Balloon release event in memory of Katy Holmes, so far we have managed to raise over £120, a big thank you to all the children, staff, families and friends who helped raise money for this fantastic Fundraising!

As some of you may or may not be aware Katy Holmes the brave little girl from Preston who recently past away after trying to fight a serious and rare brain tumour. (Some of you may remember the staff doing a moonlight walk dressed up as Tinkerbell in November to help raise money to give Katy the winter wonderland party she had always dreamed of, so thank you for your support with this!)
To show our respect to her and her family we would like to do a fund raising event and raise money for Derian house who helped look after Katy.
Katy was a massive Disney fan so we are asking if all children can dress in any Disney outfit e.g. dressing up outfit, t-shirt socks, etc….. On Tuesday 31st January.
We will also be doing a Balloon release on this day, in the garden at 2pm everyone is more than welcome to come and join in if you wish. We are also asking if possible to donate £1 all money we raise will be donated to Derian house.
The balloons we release will be blue as this was Katy’s favourite colour there will also be some labels in the office for anyone who would like to write a message, we will ensure that this will be attached to your child’s balloon.
