On Friday 20th April we went on a journey to Wollaton Park to celebrate our Golden mile torch relay. We met up with Wollaton Busy Bees for them to hand over the touch to us. The children enjoyed the open space, the experience of playing football with Nottingham county ladies football team and a picnic with the Busy Bee himself! Matt Lawson Nutritionist from Nottingham County football team also joined us and spoke about healthy easting.
We walked 5 miles in total so these will be added to our Golden mile trackers.
On Monday 23rd April the touch was handed to Nottingham City Hospital Busy Bees, this then goes onto Nottingham Clifton 24/4/12, Derby Oakwood 25/04/12,Derby Heatherton 26/04/12, Burton Upon Trent 27/04/12, Leicester St Oswalds 30/04/12, Leicester Meridian 01/05/12, Leicester Carlton Park 02/05/12, Coventry Walsgrave 03/05/12, Coventry Jolly Roger 04/05/12, Warwick 08/05/12, Leamington Spa 09/05/12, Rugby 10/05/12, Daventry 11/05/12, Northampton 14/05/12, Kettering 15/05/12 & Corby 16/05/12.
