On Thursday 17th July 2008 the Pre-School children form Leapfrog Day Nursery Hammersmith celebrated the Class of 2008 in their first ever graduation.

Leading up to the event the children took part in discussions to ensure they fully understood the purpose of the event ‘to celebrate their achievements’.

The ceremony began at 3pm.  Parents gradually arrived armed with their cameras.  In the mean time the children got dressed in their graduation gowns and had individual photos taken of them.

The red carpet was then laid as Nadine Primus (Nursery Manager) gave a welcome speech.

The children then marched into the room on the red carpet and took to their seats.

One by one they were called to collect their certificate, accept applause and smile for more photos.  Group shots were then taken of the class and their teachers.

Following the ceremony was a 45 minute magic show with ‘Magic Marty’ who had the children, parents and staff alike roaring with laughter throughout his show. 
To end the show the children were all given a carefully sculpted balloon.

The show was followed by a graduation party tea
