REFURB COMPLETED!

From today 18th June the nursery has completed it's refurb! :-) Everything is looking absolutely amazing! We hope both you and your children enjoy it as much as the staff are!

Both Shirley and Kerry would like to say a big thank you to the parents and children for their patience and co-operation during the last 9 weeks! It has been very busy with some upheavel but was all worth if for the stunning nursery we have today! :-)

The new baby room (14mos-2yrs) was completed this Wednesday (30/05) and baby rooms 2/3 moved into their new area, which is looking beautiful! The little baby room is currently in with them also whilst work on their room has also started. Wonderland are currently in the pre-school room opposite the kitchen whilst their room is worked on so please note the change in rooms for temporary drop offs/pick ups. This will be for approximately another 1/2 weeks.

All children from Baby Room's 2 & 3 have moved to their temporary room this Tuesday in the newly finished front part of Pre-school (opposite the kitchen). The builders have already demolished the walls in Baby Room 3 and are now moving on to removing the internal separating wall to allow the room to become a lot bigger and become the new Baby Room 2!

For the time being if your child is in either of these rooms please drop and collect them from their temporary home until further notice (approx 2/3 weeks).

The Pre-school children moved into the new part of pre-school ahead of schedule on Tuesday morning! It is looking lovely! The new staff room is also complete just awaiting the last few pieces of furniture!

The builders have made a good start to phase 2 of the refurb and have removed the storage cupboard and sink unit from the front of pre-school. It is estimated the front part of pre-school will be completed by next Friday. The following Monday 14th May is when phase 3 is scheduled to begin. This will be Baby Room 2 & 3 being knocked into one room, during this time the children from both these rooms will temporarily relocate to the new section of pre-school (front part) whilst their rooms are being worked on. We will advise the parents from these rooms nearer the time when to drop into the temporary location.

The new section of pre-school and the staff room will be completed by next Wednesday (02/05) so the builders will be moving onto the next phase which will be the front part of pre-school allowing it to join into the new area via double doors! We will confirm with pre-schools parents where to drop your children on Thursday of next week nearer the time once the builders have confirmed completion of the new areas!

As some of you may be aware Busy Bees have been planning a full refurbishment to your Busy Bees Nursery.

I am delighted to inform you that works are underway and your new look nursery is on its way.

We have made arrangements to decorate the nursery and flooring in some areas will be replaced following the redecoration, curtains will also be replaced and the work promises to make operational improvements as well as cosmetic ones.

There will be considerable positive changes to the environment including opening up rooms to enhance the experiences for children and the access to the outdoor areas will be more free flowing.

Please be assured that all relevant risk assessments have been completed and Shirley will keep you all updated with developments.

Once the Refurbishment is completed we will be arranging an official launch day once we have secured a completion date, we will let you know.
