Children and staff were invited to dress up for Halloween on 31st October 2011. Many of the staff and children participated in this activity which developed the childrens communication , language and literacy and also encouraged the children to further develop their Personal, social and emotional skills. The staff and children were asked to make donations for Help 4 Heroes and the nursery raised £56.18.

The children also took part in an activity with pumpkins to develop their knowledge. They discussed space, shape and measures when cutting up the pumpkin using descriptive words and discussed this activity with their peers.
