Harvest Festival Open Day success
On Saturday 25th September 2010 we held a Harvest Festival open day, the weather held off and we had a lovely day.
Stepney City Farm came along with a rabbit, chickens & 2 albino ferrets. The children really enjoyed interacting with the animals.
Parents and children brought in dry foods/tinned goods which were donated to Anchor house. Anchor house is a local based charity that works with and for homeless and vulnerable people.
Busy Beats Richard came along and both parents and children joined in a noisy and happy African drumming session.
All children took part in making some lovely scarecrows.
Other activities on the day were hook a duck, wellie throwing, beat the goalie, cake stalls arts and crafts stall plus a raffle. All money raised will go to Bliss (for Premature babies) and Unicef Pakistan flood children’s appeal.
