On Friday 3rd December we were invited along with other Nursery Managers to QE nursery in Birmingham to present a cheque to Help for Heroes.

The 21 nurseries in our region all met together at QE in Birmingham to present a cheque to Help for Heroes infront of 2 soldiers and head office staff for the fantastic amount raised which was over £10,000.

All the nurseries involved took part by holding an open week for the charity doing a range of activities to help raise this fabulous amount of money including: BBQ's, open days, fancy dress days, cake sales, raffles and much much more.

The afternoon was really good and after seeing a couple of the soldiers stories about how Help for Heroes has helped them and has had such an amazing impact on their lives and where they are now, it just confirms the money we have raised really will make such a difference :)
