After hearing about the Queen on the radio, seeing pictures of her in newspapers and magazines and watching her on the television, the children and staff at Lewes Nursery continued to learn more about and celebrate the Jubilee.

We were lucky enough to have a special Grandad visit pre school and talk to the children about the Queen, as he remembers her when she was much younger! The children drew some beautiful royal themed pictures to create a fantastic display, made some stunning crowns for everyone to wear and even made their own scones and cup cakes to enjoy at our very own street party on Friday. Even though it was raining we did not let this put us off, we simply moved the party indoors!
