The children enjoyed having there faces painted and reading extracts from the Jungle Book. Nursery Manager Naomi Jackson Commented that ' The jungle book is an excellent way to introduce children to poetry, and world literacy day is a really good way of raising children's awareness of the benifits and pleasure of reading a good book!"
