On Friday 10th February Carlton Park are launching their Golden Mile.  Parents are being asked to sponsor their child to complete 10 miles by October 2012.  All money raised will be going to the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.  Children will be walking around a circuit inside and outside the nursery throughout the coming months to get fit and enjoy exercise.  There will be nature walks and walks to the duck pond as well as musical walks and lots of walking at home.  Each child that signs up to the Golden Mile will receive a free water bottle and certificates when they reach 2, 6, 8 and finally 10 miles.  If you would like to find out more please contact the nursery.
