We are so excited to recieve our second letter of correspondance from royalty.

The children all made and designed their own wedding cards to celebrate the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. These were posted to Buckingham palace before their big day.

To celebrate the wedding, the staff planned a fantastic royal day of celebration here at Meridian, all the children & staff dressed up in their favourite party dresses / outfits. We closed the road ouside the nursery and had a Prince & Princess bouncy castle. In the afternoon we opened a street fayre and had a cake stall, henna art designs, balloon release competition, find the Princess's shoe game, hook a dook, tombola stall, lick dips, face painting to name just a few - all funds raised were donated to our charity for 2011 - Rainbow's Trust.

GEM FM visited during the afternoon, playing music requests and giving out free gifts to parents and children. A fun day was enjoyed by all.
