On Friday 13th May 2011, we had a cake sale on the front lawn to raise funds for our chosen charity The Forces Children's Trust. The Trust provides fun days out and holidays for children who have lost parents in the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. The children had been busy baking all week and the sale was a great success, selling honey flavoured cakes decorated in black and yellow icing or shaped like honey bees.

We shall post the final amount raised when all the money is counted.....Thank you to all our staff and parents for supporting this event and ensuring we raised lots of money for the charity.

The final total raised is £24.24-thank you! This will go the our chosen charity for 2011: The Children's Forces Trust.
