National Story Telling Week gets off to a great start

Children at Thorley Park enjoyed their first story of National Story Telling Week. They were visited by their retired manager Teresa Huntingford who enjoyed reading her favourite story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. The children had lots of fun getting involved and acting out the different parts of the story, swishing through the grass, squelching through the mud and most of all, finding The Bear! The children are looking forward to many more exciting stories throughout the week.
Teresa said of the experience, “This is my favourite story and I really enjoyed reading to the children again.”
