Wendy Hutchings has been appointed as the new room manager in the pre-school room at Milton Keynes Hospital Nursery.

Wendy Hutchings started her teaching career in the city of Denver, USA and then relocated to Hoboken, New Jersey, USA to further her career and obtain certification in Early Childhood Education. Marrying her English husband she has relocated to the UK in 2008 where she has continued working in the field she loves of childcare. She has furthered her education in the UK by obtaining Early Years Professions Status.

Wendy is room manager for the pre-school class and has created a stimulating environment which provides rich learning outcomes for children. As an EYP she delivers high quality education to all the children. Wendy supports all staff in the nursery with their knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and she also coaches and supports the team to provide excellent outcomes for children. The nursery is fortunate to have such an experienced professional who is an inspirational mentor for the whole team.

Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lehigh University, USA; a Post Baccalaureate in Early Childhood Education from Bloomfield College, USA; and obtained Early Years Professional Status from Northampton University.
