People all over the country took a coffee break to support the charity, which aims to provide support and advice to people suffering from Cancer, as well as their friends and families.

The nursery held their own coffee morning, inviting parents into nursery to enjoy and tea or coffee, as well as a tasty cake made by the staff and children. The children also paid £1 to wear fancy dress for the day.

Nursery Manager, Lorraine Middleton, said: “The event was a great opportunity for staff and parents to get together in nursery for the morning. The money that we raised will in some way help those families suffering from the effects of Cancer.”
