Parent’s corner – The Parent Partnership Group

Hello and welcome to the Parenting Partnership Group (PPG) at Busy Bees Hampton. My name is Jo and I am currently the chairperson of the PPG.

I suppose the first question you probably have is ‘what is the Parenting Partnership Group?’

The PPG was launched this year at Busy Bees Hampton and is a group of volunteer parents that broadly speak ’represent the voice of the parents with children at the Nursery’.

• We work with the Managers and Staff to ensure that your views, concerns and recommendation are understood and where appropriate implemented.

• We meet formally 6 times per year with Nursery Managers and staff to understand the objectives of the Nursery.

• We are available at Parents Evening for you to express your views

• We can act as a mediator for any problems you may have with the nursery

• We assist with fundraising activities, open/activity days.

• We work towards improving OFSTED rating and ultimately achieving Flagship Status for Busy Bees Hampton Nursery.

Once the refurbishment is complete, the PPG will have a dedicated Notice Board in the Reception Area providing pictures and profiles of PPG members, contact details and the latest news.
