Busy Bees would like to say big congratulations to Ryan Philips, Acting Assistant Manager at Busy Bees in Mill Hill. Ryan was delighted on Saturday night when he was awarded ‘Nursery Personality of the Year’ at this year’s Nursery Management Today awards, one of the biggest award ceremonies in the childcare sector calendar. This award looks for exceptional standards of care in early years, and awards childcare practitioners who go the extra mile and are committed to providing the best care to children.

Ryan more than fulfils this criteria, showing limitless enthusiasm and commitment to the children at the nursery, and always striving to increase his knowledge, currently working towards his Early Years Professional Status.

Ryan joined Busy Bees in Mill Hill in March 2009 as a nursery nurse. After showing his natural ability and excelling the role, Ryan was promoted to Room Manager and is currently covering maternity leave as Assistant Manager. The children at the nursery love his playful and energetic personality and Ryan has excellent relationships with parents, who warm to his infectious personality. Ryan also works well with the nursery team, and offers support when needed.
