Today we had a visit from our friends at our local 'Pets at Home' store. The staff brought along some hamsters, guinea pigs and chinchillas for the children to pet and admire. The visit also helped the preschool childen gain a realistic understanding of what is involved in caring for such pets. The children then had the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences of looking after pets.
