Portsmouth Race for Life

On Sunday 19th July, parents and staff from Busy Bees nursery in Portsmouth joined together to take part in the Race for Life 2009.
So far they have raised almost £500 for Cancer Research UK by running/walking 5k around Southsea seafront.
We all had lots of fun and luckily the weather held out for us although it was rather windy!
Cathy Cromie, parent at nursery said: "I had a briliant time with the staff from Busy Bees Portsmouth on Sunday, we had a laugh and a gossip on the route around Southsea doing the Race for Life. It was fantastic seeing all those ladies working out to help a deserving cause. I aim to try again next year, maybe force myself and the others to go for a JOG!!! Thanks ladies for a memorable day!"
