Quality Counts at Busy Bees

Busy Bees at Canterbury is celebrating this month as they were awarded The Kent Quality Mark (KQM).

KQM encourages good practice and improvement for businesses in the county and acts as an indicator of quality to parents, underpinned by the principles that have been developed by the National Quality Improvement Network.

The nursery, in Riverside Children’s Centre on Kingsmead Road, demonstrated a commitment to improving outcomes for children and to showed continuous professional development for all staff, as well as focus on improving quality and an ethos of planning for further improvement.

Nursery Manager, Jenny Shaw, said: “We’re thrilled to receive this recognition for our hard work and quality care. Receiving the Kent Quality Mark has provided the nursery with the opportunity to share our example of good practice to raise the standards of childcare for children and families in Kent.”
