Children and staff had a great time on Friday 18th March while raising money for a good cause. Children and staff were encouraged to dress up as the Gruffalo characters or wear something red. Activites on the day included face painting, bouncy castle, Gruffalo movie, pin the red nose on the Gruffalo, gruffalo mask making and much more. The days events ended with a Gruffalo tea which included scrambled snake (cabbage) with Roasted fox pie (meat and potatoe pie), owl ice cream (vanilla ice cream) and Gruffalo crumble (apple crumble).

All the children got a great suprise when they came into the nursery in the morning, the main reception area was transformed into a wooded area with hidden gruffalo's. The gruffalo story was played throughout the day.

The nursery raised £106.40 for the Red Nose Charity.
