The Children were tense with excitement as Santa made his way down the corridors here at Colton Mill nursery. He rang his bells and shouted ho!ho!ho! as he approached each room. The children fell remarkably silent in anticipation of seeing him! When Santa arrived in each room, the children were ready with a loud cheer and a rendition of their current favourite Christmas song for him.  Then Santa called out each child's name so they could go up to collect their present and if they wanted to, they could even shake Santa's hand. Santa was surprising some children further by letting them know he had recieved their individual letters and so knew what individual present they had asked for for Christmas Day. We also need a special mention for Santa's little helper, Nursery manager Julie Clark ! Julie became Mrs Claus for the afternoon and the children were amazed as they never realised Julie was such good friends with Santa!!
