So how has it all gone?
The Mexican day in 1-2's was a huge success - any excuse to get dressed up and have a party! All the staff and children got dressed up, each child made and decorated their own poncho, had a chance to wear stick on moustaches, listen to fab salsa music while demonstrating their own musical skills with our assorted aray of instruments.
Our fantastic chef and her assistant made a lovely home made mexican lunch - serving vegetarian and chicken enchilarders and mango sorbet for dessert.
We also planted our own chilli seeds, lets hope they sprout!
Visiting - Caravan, Hillman Imp and Penny Farthing Bicycles.
The children loved the opportunity to see a classic car and go into a origional 1971 caravan, where they could see "Old things" quoted by one child.... they loved having a go with the sink and taps in the kitchen area and watching Mr Cole ride a penny farthing bicycle around the car park. This opportunity made such an impact that the children have all been bringing in photographs into pre school of them and their own cars - we have displayed these in our role play car mot centre!
Photo's are now available on the website - go and have a peek!
