On July 4th at 3.00pm Shenley nursery toasted the arrival of Summer by hosting a Strawberries & Cream afternoon, apparently much fun and enjoyment was had by all who attended, and just like Wimbledon the week before play was extended from the expected close at 5.00pm to 6.00pm due to the great turn out.

Over 75 parents and their siblings attended and over 20 staff as well.

The main objective of the afternoon was to enable existing parents to meet up with old friends and make new ones. Many parents comment on the fact that there is never enough time in the day to stop and chat and make new friends.
 

Shenley's next exciting day of fun will be a Summer Fete coming up on Sunday 27th July between 2.00 pm and 5.00 pm.

This celebrates their re-launch as a Busy Bees Nursery and will include a Bouncy Castle, Barbecue, Tom Bola, Chocolate Fountain, refreshments and a ‘Promises Auction’, so if you are in the area on the 27th then why not stop by and join in the fun.
