Children and staff enjoyed a morning of sing and sign today as part of the nursery's unique Busy Babies initiative launched recently in nursery.

Busy Babies is a unique initiative introduced to babies in nursery to enhance their senses whilst in nursery.   The children enjoyed taking part in Sing and Sign where they learnt simple signs through music and adapted songs to highlight some of the words used in their everyday communications.

The session started with a welcome song, before incorporating songs relating to eating, feelings and the 'no' song!  Jessie the cat came to play and introduced them to the signs for animals in Old Macdonald!

The session finished with the home time song and all of the children were completely mesmerised and all took and active part in using the signs!
