A fantastic day was had by the Snowdrops as they took part in a family beach day. The event was organised by Senior Room Manager Vicky Hilton to coincide with the Beach theme of their "My Imagination Station".

Vicky said "The children have really enjoyed accessing the Imagination Station beach and we thought it would be lovely to meet up on Whitstable beach for a family day. The children loved seeing their friends in a different environment to nursery and the parents enjoyed getting to know each other a bit better."

One Mum said "My son loved being at the beach with his friends and I could see how he related the beach at nursery to the actual beach. It was a lovely thing for us to do together"

Vicky now has planned another family day out for when the theme is changed to Woodland in October. "The parents were really keen to do this type of activity again so we are planning a woodland walk in October. We can't wait!"
