The End .. Our Charity Walk is complete

You can read Rebekah's Blog which details every day of the walk and includes some excellent photos [Click Here] An estimated amount of £11,500, has been raised so far and we are still collecting and receiving more so a big thanks to everyone that has contributed particularly BDO and Quiss for the huge donations, but also to RBS, DLA, John Austin, Folium, MPS, PHS, Direct Building, ABS Builders, Central Contracts, Kleerex, Haywoods, Carpets Direct, SMC Charter Architect, Mercian, Alan Proto, James Barbour-Smith, Nord Anglia Education, Shade Sails, Image Tecqniques, Farringtons School, R&T Warren, Aitcheson Rafferty, Golds and anyone that has mistakenly been forgotten. Major thanks needs to go to Clare Phizacklea who carried, shopped, met, fed, applied plasters and cleaned the bus, all without complaint. Never have a group of people been so pleased to see Clare and a minibus! Thank you Clare. A big well done to all of the team, Lynn, Marg, Simon, Sarah, Becky, Karen, Pete, Dave, Gerald, Neil and last but not least Sue.
Its done, its over. After 87.5 miles of walking, the team are back at their desks, pretty exhausted, some limping. It's hard to believe that it's all finished. It was an adventure, a challenge, at times almost a nemesis for some. The overwhelming need to succeed shone through and it was a glorious moment when all 11 of the team crossed the line.
