The Lord Mayor of Nottingham joined the children, staff and Busy Bee on 24th April 2012, to launch Clifton nurseries Golden Mile.  The Lord mayor spent the afternoon with the children and staff.  He spent time with all of the staff and children before going into Preschool and joining their launch party.

Busy Bee himself is working his way around all 136 Busy Bee's Nurseries across the UK, supported by an array of sports personalities and Paralympic champions at various stages of the journey, before reaching his final destination in Excel on Thursday 26th July, the eve of the London Olympic opening ceremony.
