The children helped created an oasis of festivity with Winter and Christmas themed artwork. The floor was covered with white blankets as snow and the ceiling had black material to create a night sky and twinkling star lights to set a really magical scene. As well as the obligatory Christmas tree, we had a post box to Santa, which was handmade by the children and also a table and chairs set up to write their letters to him. Best of all however, a VIP guest visited today to see all the hard work for himself ! Mr Santa Claus arrived at 2pm to check out the Wonderland and collect all of his post.   Then he made his way around the nursery to give every child an early Christmas present for being so well behaved at nursery this year. A wonderful day was had by all and we are even more excited for Christmas Day now!
