We got on our walking boots  and walked a long long way! We were raising money via sponsorship for the Force's Children's Trust. This worthwhile charity supports children with days out and holidays who have parents killed or injured whilst in the armed forces.

We met at the North Pier ready for a 7pm start to walk the three miles. It was lovely to meet up with staff and other parents from across the northwest out of school clubs to do the walk along the prom to see the lights. The children enjoyed the thrill of being out past bedtime and meeting up with their friends!! We especially enjoyed the tram ride back.
