Each year we like to support a child related charity, we feel it’s really important to give something back to our community, especially for those children and families who are less fortunate than ourselves.

2012 - All of the Busy Bee day nurseries are supporting the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust - this is a fantastic charity which is nationwide and helps children close to where you and I live.

The company is hoping to raise £40,000.00, by all our children raising money through sponsorship.

One of our children has also managed to walk over 100 miles by walking with his sister to school, and then to nursery and home again, walking at weekends and having fun playing with his friends. Well done to Alex in Pre-school 

What do they have to do?

Pay £6.00 to register and receive a fantastic sponsor kit and fantastic water bottle. All walking is to be recorded and when each child reaches a certain goal - 2 miles, 6 miles, 8 or 10 miles, they will get a lovely colourful certificate.

So far the children and staff have managed to walk a total of 600 miles between them!

This is a fantastic achievement and we also have one little boy in our pre school who has achieved 103 miles walking with his family, he started this in March, we couldn't wait for him to reach 100 miles, as we had a very special certificate and a gifts for him doing so well.

out of the 140 nurseries who are participating, we are 1st of our region of 23 nurseries.

Our aim was to raise £520.00 as an individual nursery. So far we have raised a staggering £655.00, so we're now aiming to to excel our target and get to £700.00?
