What a Fab Fresher's Week!!

Wow! We have had a lovely time this week during our very first "Fresher's Week"!!

On Monday, all the children baked all kinds of cakes, ranging from Lemon Drizzle Cake, chocolate crispy cakes and Victoria Sponges. Mmmmm!

On Tuesday, we had our Messy day where children took part in all kinds of messy play such as gluing and sticking, crazy sand pictures and making 3D beaches out of sand and water.

On Wednesday, we had the Peppa pig bing bong dance which all the children took part in, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Everyone, including our staff teams enthusiastically took part, shaking instruments and dancing to the Bing Bong Song. It was also a aponsored event and I shall update you with the total raised for Tommy's, the premature baby charity.

On Thursday, the children enjoyed Imagination Day, a day for dressing up and making castles out of cardboard boxes!! Everyone enjoyed looking inside a diving inside the Princess Castle (some large cardboard boxes!) and making lots of fun together.

Sadly, the weather was not the best on Friday for the Freshers Ball, so we decided to have a disco and lots of great party food in each room. Thank you craig for a magnificent party tea! And the Pre-schoolers REALLY got into the disco spirit-there was much dancing and boogieing about!

Thank you to all the staff and children for taking part on what has been a lovely week! Watch this space for some nice photo memories of the week. Also, look out in your child's room for pictures of activities completed too!
